Well, we have been doing some serious christmas cleaning in caribexams.org. You may have noticed some it it when you came in and others I am sure will not be so obvious to you. So I will bring you up-to-date here. So what else is new? Well, our "What's new" notice is new. This notice, is our 'round up' of all the latest additions and updates to the caribexams library. So if you haven't been here in a while and you want to know what has happened since your last visit, this is a good place to start. Mind you, it will not have all of the new stuff; it will just give you a quick headline of the newest stuff.
Share this We have added the "share this" option to our library and study group. What does this mean? Well it means that if you really like any page in this library and study group, you can send it to a friend or anyone. All you do is click on "share this" and select the way that you want to share it. You can share it to any one of your social networking sites, e.g. facebook, myspace, twitter, Yahoo bookmarks etc, etc and even if you don't have a social networking account anywhere online, you can sent it by e-mail. Try it out! It is the easiest way to show others what's going on in the study group.
Rate this Now you can rate any page in caribexams. You can tell us the pages you like..so that we can know that you want more like them. Or you can let us know that you don't like some types of pages, and we may not include more like them. Does your rating affect what we include in the library?? Hmmm... in a word.. YES!! Your rating does count! So, please, rate the pages you like, let us know how you feel about the info and we will try to put more of what you want and less of what you don't.
Add to favorites Do you know that you have your own favourites page in caribexams? Yes you do. It is the page where you keep a list of all your favorite pages in our library. How do you do this? Well, when you are on any page of our library, you will find a link at the bottom of the page that says, "add to favourites", when you click on that link, the page will be added your list of favourites in your profile page. So when you come to caribexams, you can go straight to your favourites page and get quickly to the pages you like most in caribexams. How is that for a hook up? You can collect your personal list of favourite page links in caribexams. And we aren't done yet!
Buddylist and buddy groups Did you know that in addition to making buddies in caribexams.org, you can organize your buddies into groups. Yes you can, and so much more, we urge you to explore all the wonderful things you can do here in caribexams.org.
Subscribe/ Write to author By the way, did you know that you can subscribe to our content? If you really like a page, you can subscribe to it so that if any new additions are made to it, you will receive and e-mail letting you know. Then you can come check it out. You can also write to the author of any page. Right at the bottom of the page where it says "write to author", when you click that, you send an e-mail to the author of the page. And the author can reply right back to you. These are just some of the benefits of being a member of caribexams.org. Have you been using your benefits?

My life had seemed so meaningless without purpose but now everything has suddenly changed for me.
Growing up life wasn’t easy, as mommy did everything she could just for survival. There were nights when we would go to bed without food to eat and you could here the voices in Rachel’s belly as she twist, toss and cry for hunger.
She was the youngest of us all and was very scrawny, as mommy couldn’t afford to feed us everyday.
Daddy works on a Barn Yard which paid very little and most of the time, he would stop at his regular bar just to have a drink and then take the remainder home to us for food. Mommy hated it and would often call daddy a drunkard, which often resulted in an argument. They would quarrel for at least half an hour before seizing. Mommy would threaten to leave but never did find the courage to. She loved daddy too much.
There were times when mommy would call all four of us together: Sandy, Christina, Rachel and myself. She would tell us how much she loved us but that one day she will have to separate us, she would say, “Pamela my daughter, there comes a time in everyone’s life when they will have to make a decision, not that they want to, but because they must and in the end it will make a difference”.
I always knew she was talking about me. I would cry and say, “no mommy I don’t want to leave you’. She would insist and say, “Aunt Vickie lives in Town and I am sure she is going to take very good care of you, I know she will.”
I got up early the morning I know Aunt Vickie would come and headed out to some nearby bushes. I had to climb over Mr. Ernie’s fence as there were no other alternative. On going over the fence, I noticed a big mango tree and on the fence was a rope that Mr. Ernie uses to tie up his donkeys.
The site of the mangoes grasps my attention. I quickly threw the rope around the mango, but later found myself adjusting it tightly to suit the size of my neck. I was about to jump off when I saw a lady clothed in white, she was glowing like the sun.
“Oh my, I thought to myself, now this is what angel’s in heaven looks like.”
She reaches out her hands to touch mine and assured me that everything would be alright. We untied the rope and had one of the longest conversations I have ever held with another human being. She was very beautiful with fair complexion and hair reaching down to her shoulder, she scented very nice, more like chocolate. I later found out that this lady is my aunt.
We moved in together and I have been doing great since. I graduated with first class honor and was made valedictorian, as for my family, they are living with us except for daddy who refuses to give up his drinking habits.
Whoever says that it’s not where you are coming from but where you are going is certainly correct.

Glad you like what we have done. We are still working on it though, it is still a work-in-progress...
I was told that there was a site where the best CXC essays written by students were chosen and posted. Does anyone know where I can find them or the name of the site?

I hope exams are going well... I'm now down to 4 multiple choice papers... History, Chemistry, Spanish & French!!!! Exams on the whole haven't been that bad at all because I felt they could have been a lot worse... Even though deep down I know my best papers were Spanish, French, PE & Literature!!! I'm just waiting for it to be all over with so I can enjoy freedom!! :)
