Getting a duplicate CXC exam certificate

Hi Kera,

Yes, you can receive a duplicate of your CXC exam certificate. Here are the conditions for getting a replacement copy:

(i) You must complete a "declaration of loss" on a notarized application form. The application form is available on the CXC website. The completed form must be submitted to the Registrar at the CXC headquarters in Barbados;

(ii) You must submit a payment of BDS $200/US $100 along with your application form. This fee covers the costs of administration, search and postage by registered mail; and,

(iii) The replacement certificate / diploma will be annotated to show that it is a duplicate copy.

You can get the application form here.

We hope this information is helpful.

Re: CXC results 1987

Hello,

The CXC CSEC basic level exams have been discontinued. The basic level of exams was meant to certify that even though students had not achieved the "General" or standard level of performance on CXC CSEC subject exams, they were capable of performing at a "Basic" level in the subject area.

The basic level of the CXC CSEC exams was graded in the same way as the General level of the exams, i.e. levels I, II, III and so forth.

Effectively then, a III at the basic level on a CXC CSEC exam in 1987, means that you did not perform very well on that exam, in that subject area, in that year.

I hope this helped to clear it up for you.

I agree

You should check in the Ministry of Education in your island. They are the ones to check on your grades and to issue a statement certifying that you passed your subjects.

COPY OF CXC GRADES

I GRADUATED 1995 AND TOOK SEVEN CXC EXAMS IN THAT YEAR. I AM UNABLE TO LOCATE MY CERTIFICATE AND THE RESULTS. CAN A CERTIFICATE BE RE-ISSUED?
