No you are not allowed to use calculators in the CXC CSEC math paper 1.
The notes to the CXC CSEC exams states,

"Attention is drawn to the rule that silent non-programmable scientific calculators may be used in the following examinations:
....
(ii) Mathematics - Paper 2 only

So you can only use calculators for paper 2 of the CXC CSEC math exam.

"its agent.." Are you sure you don't mean URGENT?

I just past English and i never took classes but i surf the net.
I was very weak in summary but overcome that but going on line and practicing and reading all about summary.
I do believe that you can get help by looking at different aspect of English online.

i sat the paper 2 years ago the fact that im doin it again this year say abt ma result .we werent allowed to use a calculator in the multiple choice
if we were it wud be so much easier.hopes this helps

I myself drop out of school 17yrs ago and gave birth to my son also, but something tells me get up and pursue my dreams of getting my subjects so I have decided to do maths and biology so am starting classes september this year and i know by GOD's grace I will get through, but i will need all the support I can get from you guys thank you all in advance!

Congratulations on going back to school! You might want to get a private math tutor to help you get up to date on your math formulas. Whatever you do, don't give up the fight. Get those subjects!
