Haiti, I'm sorry...
Haiti, I'm sorry...

My heart goes out to the people of Haiti in this time of disaster and grief. I commit myself to contributing to help my Haitian brothers and sisters.
I ask our members and guests not to turn their hearts and their eyes away..... but to do something to help.
Haiti is our neighbour, a part of our CARICOM community and the Haitian people are part of our Caribbean people. We Caribbean people must not be only spectators to the trials of our neighbour. We must help in whatever way that we can.
As we all reach out and ask for help in our time of need and take the help that is given to us, let us now take time from our own troubles, to reach out a hand of help to brothers and sisters who need help so much more than we do.
Please contribute to aid going to Haiti, if you can. If not, please offer your service to help those working to collect aid for Haiti and, please take a moment out of your life to sent prayerful good wishes their way.

My heart goes out to Haiti. My heart becomes bitter at times, to see the disgust of perishing bodies surrounding the land. Bodies which were once up and about, going to school, work, home and other destinations.
Each time I watch CNN News Coverage of Haiti, I become more delusional to the buildings I see. Haiti, the once profound and rich nation, now poor of food, water, shelter, and supposedly of loved ones but never poor of faith.
The days go by, more nations decide to help, the tragic land of corruption. I sit and wonder, what would be God's explanation for this destruction. Then I remember my mother's teachings "NEVER QUESTION GOD".
To see the faces of almost lifeless bodies, I begin to thank God for life as it is.
God does everything for a reason, and this year 2010, this is God's way of rebuilding, the nation, HAITI.

it really hurts me to see what happened but tthis shall soon pass.
