Did anyone find CAPE Math ridiculous today?
I mean seriously, I didn't have time to finish the last section. Every problem I practiced instantly became obsolete. I feel pretty stupid right now :(
I really need help with H.S.B my email is getmoneyordye@yahoo.com
Are you doing H.S.B Paper 1 this friday? If yes, Good Luck.
I wrote in 2008...i got a 2....but was aiming for a 1....it was the trigonometry section that messed me up...its because i wasnt prepared for the module two man....anywho....hope you guys dont fall far from the 1 :D....Best of luck! Relax!! University is much easier lol....
I wrote in 2008 as well, however, I got a 1 with all A's in my Profile Grades. Found the exam to be EXTREMELY EASY.
I really hope u aren't confusing all A's in CXC for all A's in CAPE. If you are, shame on you. In fact double shame on you. However, if you did get all A's in CAPE Maths (5000 more difficulty x CXC MATHS)congrats to you. In fact, double congrats to you.
well to break the ice, i did cxc math.it was manageable,i thought it would be hard but it wasnt so hard
Yeah I agree it was harder. I went through alot of past papers, and did everything we went through in class. But alot of the things that usually come didn't even come. It was entirely different to previous years, based off the past papers. And one of the questions (I think the one about the compund angles) wasn't solvable without a calculator from my knowledge...
Only one person from my school claims that the exam was somewhat managable, and even he found it harder than expected and he's the best at math I know. The identity was pretty odd to me also. I think I could have done better, but I really wasn't comfortable either. I had to do it on a combo desk, in the corner of a hot wooden classroom. I lost my psyche around half way and didn't even reach the final section.
For the most part, I'd say I still have a chance at passing math, but that one I was aiming for is in the gutter. I guess the exam wasn't that it was hard, but rather that is was unfamiliar. Oh well.
But Jboy213, it's not fair to say I didn't study hard. I'm in a sleep deprived state and very stressed. I've made math my number one priority and it still went wrong. I normally chastize myself, but it would be unfair to say that there was anything I could do to help me with that exam. Maybe our teachers did a bad job preparing us for it because the entire time our focus seemed different. Not even their hardest practice material was so unfamiliar.
lol, it was definitely harder than the previous years.
shh jboy, you dun know what yu talkin about
Wait, I come back here and see yal misread my comment. I didn't say u didn't study hard. My question was maybe u didn't study as hard as you think you did? I never explicitly said that u didn't study hard.
Also, I think all students say there year was harder than all the years. It's what we do as part of removing part of the blame from ourselves.
I am able to talk in such a manner because, I know how it feels to be ruined when you aimed for a one in cape maths. Luckily, I didn't fall too far off and I managed to get a grade 2.
Since the exam was challenging in my year, the 2 felt like a 1 for me. In case you want to know what year i wrote, it was last year. Lemme guess, you taught last year was easier than what u got? But its just a guess........
So in response to the guest(not verified) I do know what I am talking about.
Well, there are others like you I know who said it was hard, but the majority of persons said it was easy or OK.
Maybe you didn't study as hard as you think you did?

i am finding cape math rediculously hard and would really appreciate some help. also if anyone get the point of communication studies and could give me some good websites.
