CXC English A: Reading comprehension: Literary devices in poems

You must answer reading comprehension questions on poems in the CXC English A exam.

There are poem questions on the CXC Emglish A paper 1 (multiple choice questions) AND CXC English A paper 2 (short answer questions).

In both English A papers, you should be able to identify the literary devices used in the poems and why they are used.

The literary devices are explained for you and they are shown in the first half of the poem. You must then find them yourself in the second half of the poem.
