writing the CXC exams in January 2011

Hello, I don't think you can. In order to register for the exams, you would need to do it through the local registrar in one of the participating island territories. In order to do that, you would have to be resident in that island.

I hope this information helps.

Re January exams

Hi, yes, in September you just register for the CXC exams and pay the fees to sit in January. It doesn't matter whether you sat exams in June before.

You register with the local Ministry of Education (MOE) in your territory to sit the CXC exams. You can find contact information for the local MOEs in our links sections.

Yes, if you are from Trinidad and Tobago, the registration for CXC exams for private candidates (out-of-school) individuals is free.

Not sure about the other CARICOM territories, if anyone knows more, please post.

I think

you may be able to sign up with your birth certificate; I am not sure though. You should call the Ministry and check, or go to the Ministry and check.
