am really bad at english, i did english in year 2007 but i like to do it over next year can i have some guidelines on how i can do well at english.
Do you think a person can pass English with just reading all the time, find and look up words to improve vocabulary.
@a.richards not at all passing cxc english require alot of comprehension skills heres a clue practise writing stories especially short sentences stories,summary writing and writing helps alot about 80% and remember practise practise practise ok i can help if u want ok well if anyone wants
Hi, to pass the CXC English A you do need to practice your writing skills.
The exam is a written one and you are marked on how well you understand written English (reading comprehension) and how well you can express yourself in written English (summary and essays).

After that you may want to browse our English exam strategies section and the CXC past papers section. They are all very helpful.
