New academic year begins

Today is the start of the academic year 2008 - 2009. During this year CXC will hold its annual January CSEC exams for private candidates. Private candidates are individuals who sign up on their own with the local Ministry of Education to sit the CXC CSEC exams. These exams will be held in January 2009.

In May/June 2009 CXC will hold its annual CSEC exams for in-school candidates.These are students of registered public and private educational institutions who are signed up by their schools to sit exams.
