CXC releases results of the January 2010 CSEC exams
CXC has indicated that the results of the January 2010 CSEC exams will be released on March 1st 2010.
For those of you who don't know the drill, this means that this is the date that the results will be sent to the Ministry of Education in your territory.
You will not get your results on this date.
The local Ministries of Education usually take a day or two (sometimes longer) to tabulate statistics on national performances in the exams.
After this, the results become available to exam candidates. Usually the local Ministry of Education will make public announcements that the CXC results have arrived and that they will be posting them out to candidates. You are also given the opportunity to go into the Ministry to collect your results slip.
If you live in Trinidad and Tobago, we strongly recommend that you do not wait to receive your CXC CSEC exam results by post from the Ministry of Education. You should go into the Ministry personally to collect your exam results.
I am not sure but I think that CXC has miscalculated my marks and I believe that they should re-check them, because it would be unfair if I don't get back into a secondary school for A-Levels. However it is extremely expensive to do so...........

I collected by results now i had closed a chapter in my life. I resat Maths and got Grade 3. Not the best grade but will accept it and move along. This along with the other seven subjects I got equal eight subjects. i.e three grade 1s including a distinction, three grades 2 and two grade 3s. All the best everyone! Wish me good luck in the future for i surely wish you all top luck for the future!

Well I received my results, finally!!..It was my first time sitting CXC exams, so I'm quite pleased with my performance in the four exams I sat. What annoys me is that up to this day, i'm still waiting for the timetable and exam results, that the Ministry promised to mail to me..On two occasions I had to pay a visit to the Ministry in order to get these....Tell me this, are they ever on time?
I bet you from Trinidad right? right?? Sounds like the Trinidad Ministry of education. And we like to think that we in Trinidad are the best in the Caribbean. Cheups..... big, long, wet cheups.
Tobago candidates, collect your results at Education on Dutch Fort Scarborough, they are NOT mailing them because its too much. you know how government workers are. it's distributing right now, walk with and ID
I agree...we should be allowed to collect the results buh when i went to the Ministry they said i will get it posted to me...... that is crazy because mail sometimes get lost and also misplace............
I got 1 in Spanish 2 in Mathematics 2 in English and 2 in social studies.I am statisfied but still doing them over in june but I want to Give God all the glory becaz last year i got a 4 in lit and 3 in french so this year improved.

don't worry about the results, you all will get the results soon....i have learn to be really patient with this ministry we have done here and over the years have developed coping skills so that i would lose my mind. I understand the enthusiasm to recieve your results, but take your minds of it. The results will come and then you wil realise its not a big deal after all.
yea but i went to the ministry twice thus far and they are telling a lot of lies and too the staff isn't even working i stand up there waiting to talk to one of them and all of them liming,talking and laughing and ignoring the fact that i am there.it is so shameful!!!!!!!!!!!they need to get their acts in order.Waiting so long is taking a toll on us....:( Trinidad and Tobago is so backward and carefree

My name is Kwan Gordon. I wrote the csec exam January 2010 in mathematics, test code 01234020 and english A General, test code 01218020 at the St.Stephen college Princes Town. I would like to know, why i cannot get my results? I have made a query to the ministry and still to date, no results.
Actually, I have not received my results as yet. In fact, I keep calling on the dates that I'm told to call but still nothing. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Obviously something outside of the usual is hapening this year, so let us try to exercise a bit of patience.
For our Trinidad and Tobago members and guests: We ask that you remember that, for the first time, the Trinidad and Tobago government is paying the CXC examination fees for all private, out-of-school citizens who elect to sit the CXC exams.
Certainly, this is a huge administrative undertaking. The delay in receiving exam results may be due to the fact that the Ministry of Education has many more exam entries and results to manage and collect statisitics from.
Could i go in personally into Education and collect the results at this time. *Tobago*

Dis ministry is soooooooooo frustrating! First they sent me to the wrong center to sit the exam and now there is a delay in the release of the results. How nerve wrecking! Shame Shame Extemely shame on the ministry of education poor administrative skills. c

lol i went yesterday and they told me it would be out next week Friday and to hear one day later from someone that its out well.........

My Mother sat two CXC subjects for the first time and is very anxious to receive results. Is it possible to access these results online or if not can she collect it by Ministry of Education.
Trinidad and Tobago reults would be mailed out and we should recieve it next week. congrats to all of you with your results

i Have just called the Ministry of Education, Examinations Department. The representative told me that results would be out next week.
She didnt give any particulars.
My advice....call 628-2567 when next week comes to find out more info whether or not.

i think i did well but i scared as hell just thinking bout it i need to do well you see i under real pressure from my parents i mostly scared of disappointing them .has anyone been in this situation before i need advice or else i will kill myself suicide has crossed my mind but i still struggling. HELP ME!!
Well ,the first thing u did identified is that u think u did well and i believe u did well .Trust yourself and know u did well, u see sometimes we second guess ourselves and cause unnecessary stress ( u are looking at one) however, always remember u did ur best .....u see the results is not really for ur parents its for u and even though u may not do quiet well there are other times to improve.We all need to improve in some area and sometimes not only one time but we may have tried on several occasions before we get it right.One thing I know for sure ur parents would not like to know that they loose their beloved child over some results trust me ... some times parents put up these hard rules so we can improve ourselves but not to take our lives ...... Much love and i know u did ur best love
Hey u, a pass or fail results does not worth your life. You are more valuable than a pass grade. If your parents cant see this then you need to put yourself up for adaption. I did, and i am now 35 years old going o to 36 and still trying to pass a couple of subjects. It doesnt happen fast for everyone. The world cant afford to lose you. Might be your gift/talent lies somewhere else where, persons are waiting on you to realize so that you may one day inpart a change in their lives too. We all need you. nuff love!
